A really short story …

I’ve been an artist all of my life. And I’ve been fascinated by nature, wildlife and all things beautiful since I can remember.
I was however, never a great student, who enjoyed spending time in a classroom. So I used nature as my training ground. I’ve refined my artistic skills while on Safari in Africa, hiking through the rain forests of Puerto Rico, climbing mountains in Wyoming, trekking the plains of Montana and sculpting in Italy. The natural world has been my teacher … and I couldn’t have found a better mentor.
I’ve been a professional artist for over 25 years, and I’m blessed to have collectors from all over the world. My work has been represented in galleries all over North America including New York, Miami, Jackson Hole, Portland, Los Angeles, San Diego, Vancouver and Toronto, and is also included in many private, personal, corporate and celebrity collections.
Fur, Fire and Paint
In 1997, I developed a proprietary technique for painting on ceramic that had never been seen before in the Wildlife art market. My process of using airbrush techniques on raw clay gave me the ability to create fine detail and subtle yet dimensional color on large vases, platters and other functional art pieces.
This original way of painting on such a fragile surface, created works that were deeply detailed, wonderfully elegant and full of light - and were highly valued for their unique beauty by collectors around the globe.
Over time, they went on to become the highest selling works of their kind, in the world. I have since retired this process and am now focusing only on painting on canvas.
Painting the Stars
In 2017 I began painting large format Starscapes in Oil. I also developed a partnership with NASA and The Hubble Science team to produce an International Art show called ‘Art of the Cosmos’.
These large format star paintings have captured the attention of designers and collectors from all over the world and have expanded my own way of working and perceiving depth, detail and color.
I’ve also written a book on INTUITION called, First Intelligence: Using the Science and Spirit of Intuition, which is considered by many to be the best book on Intuition out there. *It’s available on Amazon and at other booksellers
I have always used my Intuition in my creative processes. It is an intelligence skill I believe we ALL posses and can develop to serve us in any way we wish to use it.
