My Favorite Things
Animals have always been my favorite subjects to paint. Commissioning a portrait of your special ‘fur babies’ is a unique and special way to capture their essence and personality in a way that you can treasure forever.
As a pet mom to dogs, cats and a horse of my own, with a keen and intuitive eye for detail, character and personality, I know how important it is to get those subtle, yet important details, ‘just right.’ I’d love to help you create that portrait you’ve been dreaming of.

You schedule a consultation via Zoom or phone. Or we can do it in person if you’re in the Los Angeles area. Email me through the Contact Me link below and we can set it up
We discuss the details (style, size, price, etc.) What are you wanting to commemorate? A special horse? A special moment? Or do you just want something unique and spectacular to fill a wall?
You send me a photo or photos to work from. If you have more than one, we select which one represents the best feel you wish to capture. (Quality images are essential. One excellent photo will save much more time than working from multiple images and having to edit them together. Although that can be done if multiple animals are a part of the portrait)
You pay the 50% deposit and sign the Artist Contract.
I do a spec sketch with the layout and get your approval.
I start the painting. If you want to be kept in the loop, I’ll touch base throughout the process to share progress.
I let you know when your painting is completed and send you a photo of the completed piece for final approval.
You pay the balance.
I pack and ship your painting. (Larger sizes will require custom packaging)
Your painting arrives and becomes a treasured part of your collection.
*Time to complete the painting depends on size, details and the length of my wait list. 6-8 weeks is a general time frame.

These are the base prices and sizes for a single, unframed horse or pet portrait. Each additional horse or pet in the same portrait is an additional $300. Each person portrait in the same painting is an additional $500. Minimum 50% non-refundable deposit required. Shipping and tax, where applicable, not included. Prices subject to change.
